For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Yes, I think it does. So it's bigger news than some might think.

I don't think they'll push FFXIII back! It would mean:
- DQIX in 2009
- FFXIII in 2010
- FFvsXIII or DQX in 2011
- FFvsXIII or DQX in 2012!
Even SE wouldn't be that stupid!
Tremble, SE never released mainline DQ and FF in the same financial year. In fact , they made several comments about it in the past.
So unless they've changed their mind, there will be no FFXIII and DQIX in the next financial year, and I can't see DQIX slipping into another financial year...
According to joystiq, the reason for the delay is due to major bugs that were found in the game, so i don't think the game should impact the localization all that much, unless their policy is to not start on localization until the Japanese product is finished (which would make little sense). The game is apparently very close to done, they just ran into some big problems in the debug phase which are, like i said, huge bugs, but it shouldn't slow down localization.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
Perhaps both FFvXII and DQX will be in 2011. Versus isn't exactly main series
