Does PSN have anything like the Community Games on Live Marketplace? The sheer randomness of the selection generates an occasional gem that is unexpected. Closest thing I can see to Community Games is LBP levels, which suffer the wrath of Sony deletion policy.

Is that the section on Live where you can download an application that makes your TV into a fireplace?  How much is that again?

Thanks for the input, Jeff.

I would like to know how many games on 360 do what Little Big Planet can do. And the deletion thing was small and virtually non existant now. Play "Luminous Garden" level of LBP and you will be hooked on the game's charm.

What is a Community Game anyway? By your definition of course. I mean aren't all DL games kinda Community Games? Pixel Junk, Everyday Shooter, all made by nobody developers, and others made by big companies. Who cares where they come from, as long as they are good.

They are trying to level with the 360 as most of them (Worms, Hold-em, etc.) are already on XBLA. I find it nothing to be excited about.

That's probably for the best since you don't have a PS3 in the first place. Unfortunately, it baffles me why games like Flower don't inspire someone with a name like halogamer1989 to run out and pick up a PS3 a.s.a.p.

I would much rather pass by real flowers on campus and if I wanted calming music Mozart and Beethoven are cheaper alternatives (and better I might add).  I am not a fanboy, I just am frugal with my money and see no need to buy a PS3 when I can't stand JRPGs and all my gaming needs are fulfilled by my 360, PC, or older consoles.  See my profile for proof that I am no fanboy when it comes to classic gaming.

Why are you in this topic again? You don't have a PS3 and have no intent in buying one. Oh wait...you're just a troll. Nevermind.

Prediction:

TGS this year for PS3 will be amazing.

Grandia comes to PSN(PSone classic).

First Versus gameplay this year.

The Adventures Of Duane and Brando

Community games are built from the C# based XNA framework and ported to 360 after peer reviewal (no ESRB).  It is essential in training the next gen of devs and getting more involved in bridging the gap between console and PC dev at a basic level.

Though PS3 will have superior version of worms. (No size limit)

so you can get exclusive timed demos, exclusive dlc, and now you have the ability to buy games from amatuers.  great.

Yes you are right.  @ Skittles I was responding to a statement made at me.  I will not stand idly by and not respond.  That would just be rude, now wouldn't.  PSN games are great I am sure but it is just biz.  Sony is implementing similar titles to its lineup.

Why is it everytime a Ps3 thread pops up...you always have a bunch of Xbox fanboys and Wii fanboys bashing the system?

Maybe cause they cant afford it...that should be no reason to hate...get a JOB and go buy one...really annoying this site is mostly all anti-Sony! Then if you say one comment about a game on the Wii or 360 they all jump on you...hypocritical dont u think?

anyways glad to se the Psn network getting more games and updated this is hugely needed...

Oh for God's sake man!  This is why I hate this gen and my generation.  Always this is better than this and this $400 dollar machine is better than what you have so buy it with something that does it similarly to crowd you living room and drain you checking acct.  Needs vs. wants man, needs vs. wants.
