It probably sounds like a strange question to site users but I go on another site that has that policy.

I wont mention the site as I know it is against the rules.

But some of the threads can be hilarious sometimes.

It is a gaming site and for the most part is quite civil but a couple of the members can go really overboard sometimes with there comments.

One time quite recently someone asked for a certain member to be banned and was told to ignore that user as it took 2 to argue.

As far as threads go it would not be as busy as this site it is more of a news site than anything but the comments in the pieces can be quite hilarious sometimes.

So what do you think yay or nay?

There'd be so much porn on this website that everyone will forget that the main point of the website is to track video game sales and would just come here to look at porn :s

I got a bit of a potty mouth so I like the fact I have restrictions, honestly I have seen some sites like the one you're talking about and they're out of control, so much horseshit is posted and its basically just a mass war.

I think .. thats why I don't take it personally when I'm banned (justified)

No, i think the bans need to stay, just to keep some people in check. I know that if they werent I probably would have gone overboard a couple times myself, but because they are there it made me rethink what I was gonna say.

Well there was a guy who did nothing but post giant pictures of penises so i'm going to say no.

The site would probably be closed down if that happened Gilgamesh so I get your point alright.
Still that has not happened on the site I visit.
And it is quite a respected site as far as gaming news is concerned.
