i dont believe that... i asked my local gamestop back in november why were they not having a midnight launch for resistance 2 but 1 for gears of war 2 and the employee told me its not up to them but sony and miscrosoft...gamestop doesnt pay for those hours of the midnight launch sony and microsoft..or whoever publishes the game does...

got my pre order if it was a GTA type seller or a halo type game maybe but this games launches 1 million tops 3 million lifetime and those are optimistic predictions.

unless this game ultimatly kicks butt and gets killer ratings it could do better lifetime sales.

100 preorders a store is a lot. dont worry people no midnight launch doesnt mean crap... seriously... 100 preorders.. wow... i dont see how any of the storws around me would have one. there were 6 in less than 10 miles of each other. preorders would be scattered pretty evenly between them. the one i can see breaking 100 is inside the mall but they wouldnt be able to have a midnight launch

 I agree it is like a new game how long has it been since killzone??? Hopefully this one does well and they can get another gameout with in 2 years.

Which store is it you say that has a midnight release? The one on capital? crabtree mall? or another one?

I believe GTA 4 did also, for both systems.  Anyhow, I am not seeing much in signs or promotions in NY.  A Gamestop in a mall in the area took the KZ2 sign down.  It is now up, as a small sign on the release board with "coming soon".

There is a chance there could be a Ron Paul effect at work here.  KZ2 appearing to be larger than it is actually is on the Internet, as opposed to off the Internet.
