Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

I think graphically they're pretty much equal. The only thing that sets them apart is the art style really. Star Ocean characters are like 3D anime characters, while FFXIII is a weird mix of anime and CGI.

EDIT: What I said about FFXIII wasn't a bad thing I think it looks great. Also SO4 looks like the RPG to have this gen...so far.

if SO4's battle system is like an enhanced version of SO3's then yes, star ocean till the end of time had an awesome battle system.

If this game runs at 60 fps constantly, then yes: SO4 > FFXIII. Did you see that lag in the FFXIII trailer?


They have over a year of polishing to do, im sure they can get rid of some "lag"

what i didnt like about the battle system in SO3 is that sometimes your partners just stayed still without doing anything and i had to fight alone. i hope they have fixed that.

I'm really excited about finding about the origins of the Star Ocean world as well and seeing how it all links up. And the awesome visuals are a big plus.

Knowing Square Enix and the fact that the game is "THE" Final Fantasy, they'll probably abuse all the most used HD gaming effects in the world, including super bloom and ultra motion blur.

With that said, I really hope it's going to be playable.
