The ratio of number of owners, to buzz factor, I believe tips to the side of Killzone 2. There are far more Wii owners, yet I don't see a lot of Conduit messages. It comes up in passing. Exactly how many Conduit messages have been posted? I probably alone have posted more on Killzone 2 than everyone else has about the Conduit on here.

Well, the PS3 has multiple good FPS titles. The Wii doesn't really have any (Metroid Prime 3: Corruption doesn't quite fit). So, if people want to discuss it, that would make sense.

Both of them look like great games, both of them are going to make people excited. If you have a problem hyping those games, then hopefully you have a problem hyping every game ever made, as that would only be fair.

i find both annoying.
oddly enough... i wasnt that annoyed with the killzone stuff until i tried the demo. outside of graphics, i thought it was subpar....so now when i see all the hype, it gets on my nerves a little.
i always thought this conduit hype was completely ludicrous though.

Killzone looks to be an amazing game,its only natural people are going to post about it.

The conduit looks like a great game as well.One of the few wii games im interested in.

By far the Conduit. HVS haven't made a good game yet. The Conduit looks so bleh. The graphics are so uninspired and the last gameplay video I saw made it look so ordinary.

I have played the Killzone 2 demo. At least thats a good game (this is coming from a FPS hater). It might even be the first FPS I buy...

There's a fine line for how much hype is too much.  I think that once a single opinion dominates the conversation, (i.e. disagree and be shunned as a heretic.)  then you've crossed it.  As it stands now, pointing out that the Conduit looks generic, and would be nothing but white noise on other consoles gets you labeled a fanboy, likewise, not believing Killzone 2 to be the greatest FPS ever made will earn you the same treatment. 

Both games have now crossed that line, and the hype has become a bad thing.

i'll pick alan wake and halo wars due to the fact that i am a fan the the wii/ps3 which of course means you are in no way allowed to be excited for games on your favorite system. it's offensive to everyone that doesn't like the 360.

now please, let us all return to having absolutely no discussion about video games on this site dedicated to video games.
