"As we, and the rest of the showbiz world, continue to be horrified by reports that Rihanna was heard "screaming" during her 911 call, that she had bite marks on her arm and hand, and that she may even need plastic surgery, the backlash against her R&B singer boyfriend Chris Brown continues in earnest. Yesterday we brought you the news that the rapper's Wrigley's ad had been dropped, and now his "Got Milk" one has been pulled, too. A statement from the Dairy Council reads: "[We are] taking the allegations against Chris Brown very seriously. We are very proud and protective of the image of the Milk Mustache [sic] campaign and the responsible message it sends to teens. Mr Brown's ad is scheduled to end this week." As well as the advertising agencies pulling the plug, Cleveland radio station WAKS FM 96.5 is also refusing to play anymore Chris Brown music, and industry insiders are already predicting that his career is basically over. In the wake of the incident, it was revealed that Chris once talked about how his stepdad used to beat up his mum, but now his stepdad has come forward to offer his opinion. Asked if he believed that Chris would hurt Rihanna, Donelle Hawkins replied, "I wouldn't be surprised. He [Chris] has to take responsibility for his own actions." He also denies ever hitting Chris' mum, saying, "We argued frequently, but there was no physical abuse.""
How to ruin a perfectly steady and growing career in 20 minutes. Bite marks! The man is an animal, his record label need to do the right thing and drop him.
