Bioshock? They had one programmer and one artist working exclusively on the water, and it shows!

the opening scene in bioshock it had a wonderfull water effect one of the best looking. im meaning when u crash and there fire all over. but in game water wasnt the same grafix as opening crash.fire scene............imo th best with interactiviy ios uncharted and resistance 2

That scene is in game! And it's not the best water scene in the game (well the demo, I only played the demo so far). The part where you're crossing that transparent passage between two buildings has the most realistic water I've ever seen in a game. You may be right about the interactivity part.

I haven't played Crysis.

Anything criteria that yields victory to a ninty game/console...I understand LMAO.

For people bringing out CRYSIS:

Crysis water looks good, but physics on it don't. See the video below:

The water moves naturally, when the dude throws objects it just keeps moving that way and appear some designed white effects. Understand what I am talking about?

Let's take a look at Fallout 3 water:

The interaction level is much more high then Crysis...
Do you guys understand it?

You're dellusional. That Crysis clip obliterates Fallout 3! Complete Obliteration:

The realistic physics of the barrel

The water sprites from the bullets

The ripples from any object thrown at the water

The awesome light refraction underwarter

The amazing grenade explosion underwater

You must be blind.

agreed

Guys. again:

- I am talking about just of the physics of the RIPPLES!!!

I took fallout 3 water as an example... I could put there an uncharted clip. Ok?

Hmmm nope.

That is a REALLY bad screen shot of starfox adventures. Either way though I would never say Starfox Adventures has the best water in any game. Nintendo did better with tons of other games(SMS and SMG come to mind). I would say Crisis probably wins as well. Personally though from an Artistic standpoint I would probably say alot of 2d games would have better looking "water" to me.

Bioshock...

Thats just the "work in progress" video.
And make sure you watch the HD version of the video...not the SD.

Fallout 3
crisis and
wave race 64

Resident Evil 4's water effects are pretty nice

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

I have to agree with shio... the video you posted whorenraged is of a flat calm water for fallout 3, of course there will be more ripples than in the sea.

Go to the seaside on a standard... choppy-water day and throw a rock in, you see the initial splash but long-lasting ripples will get drowned out by the waves.

Uncharted definately
