The Dreamcast numbers don't seem right. The shipments on VGChartz are 9.13 million...

GBC games work on the original GC, don't they? That's the criteria I use for determining what counts as the same, and what doesn't.

GB is all iterations of it, this includes GBColor. Just like DS has lite, PS1/2 have thier redesigns, and so on.

As I stated in my first paragraph, I took sold numbers from vgcharts when I could. If I knew the data here was not in retail sold graphs, like NES or GB, I used Wikipedia. Since all of those systems are no longer available in retail, any shipped unit has obviously been sold. When Sony stops making ps2's the vgchartz 'shipped' data from the http://vgchartz.com/worldcons.php page will also be its 'sold' data.

C'mon ppl what does it matter for the purposes of this thread if PS2 is 2nd or 1st. I clearly stated Wii won't catch the top 3 anyways.

Last I checked, you could play GB games on the GBC, but not the other way around. It's called backwards compatibility.
