Forums - Microsoft - KH3- Will it come to the 360?

i agree...

with tha way thangz are goen w/ SE and M$,

i’m bettin’ it’ll be exclusive for Xbox360,

tho, judging from how (money-motivated) they are, thurrz a chance it’ll be PS360

they mite release a spin-off for tha Wii

as they had done w/ FF12

the only reason, i think, they mite even release for Wii is because of Disney

i wished they had released KH RE:CoM for tha Wii as well instead of just remaking it for PS2

<<all mah opinion, of course..>>

I would bet 500 VG$ on it being PS3/360.

if FF and Star Ocean came to 360, you should expect KH also. KH sales in America outsell Japan by almost 3 to 1.

Holy wow I never thought of that. So heres my guess.

Case 1: Square Enix is allowed to choose the platform. As KH sells so freakin' well in the US, going to PS3/360 would be the best bet. But it won't be on 360 in Japan. Either this or 360 exclusive. I believ DQ X went primarily to Wii because it isn't exactly a large seller in the West.

Case 2: Disney decides which platform it goes on. Another hard bit to tell. It'd sell best on Wii in Japan for sure. It being a massively selling US game, they are unpredictable.

LOLCASE3: Nomura gets to decide. While I believe this will make the highest quality KH3(due to him making Versus 13) , it'd also be the lowest selling option.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Of course not, anyone who thinks KH3 will release this generation is going gaga. The team is working on Versus and that one is still years away, no hope for KH3 until 2013. :/

If through some miracle it does release this gen the obvious bet is Wii but Sony, Disney and Nomura love each other so it's all up in the air.

Weekly, the Wii sells more SW in NA than the PS3 and 360 combined.

When you take Nintendo-published games out of the software sales, how much does it still beat it by?

Disney is known to want it on the Wii, and what Disney wants, Disney gets.

This is not to say that it won't necessarily appear on other consoles as well; it might. But count on a Wii version, and count on that version getting the most developer attention.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

That's irrelevant.

Is it? Alright then. Just take out games with the words "Wii" in its name and compare it to the sales of PS360 games. I'm trying to get an estimate here. Im fairly certain Kingdom Hearts 3 won't have Wii in its name. You can keep the other Nintendo Published games.

Wii 2,031,647

Xbox 360 1,217,260

PS3 591,275

But of the Wiis 2.032M

  • 320,000 Are a permament bundle. (Wii-Sports)
  • 270,000 Are what I would call an application and not really a game. (Wii-Fit)
  • 120,000 Are a $10 game bundled with a controller. (Wii-Play)

Once you consider the market that third parties can compete for (Games) The Xbox 360 is roughly equal to the Wii.

Tease.

Kingdom Hearts Wii confirmed?

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."
