Mario Party. Most other Nintendo games I'm cool with and enjoy, but I HATE Mario Party.

Yes, they had a chance with the Wii to take Mario Party a new direction and kept the same bland board game.  It's definitely one of the better in the series but better is relative.  Apparently we are in the minority, however, because this game looks to be a 2 million+ worldwide seller.  That puts it up there with the likes of Gears of War...

Apparently the original poster didn't play pac man CE on the 360.  Definitely a cool game.

I hate trolls.

Systems I currently own:  360, PS3, Wii, DS Lite (2)
Systems I've owned: PS2, PS1, Dreamcast, Saturn, 3DO, Genesis, Gamecube, N64, SNES, NES, GBA, GB, C64, Amiga, Atari 2600 and 5200, Sega Game Gear, Vectrex, Intellivision, Pong.  Yes, Pong.

Keep fifa and bomberman. kill sonic, crash, spyro, Final Fantasy, Bust-a-move not like anyone really cared about that game. unless theres another DK country bye bye. star fox if its like the first two keep it but otherwise, eventhough hes my fav on SSB. Pokemon doesn't matter to me. Most sports games don't matter to me.

Hi, this is Vince with Shamwow.

Tomb Raider definetly.

And Mario for god sake (the little plumber has been milked to death).

7. Donkey Kong: Who likes Donkey Konga?

Ooo! Me! Me! If you haven't played a hard song drunk at a friends house, you haven't lived. The new racing game on the other hand..... meh. They should have left support in for the drums at least.

For franchises that need to die.. I'd say Sonic. Mostly because Sega hasn't been able to make a good Sonic game in forever. It'd be the humane thing to kill him off.

To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.

The Mario SPIN-OFFS should die [except Kart].. the main series needs to stay. Mario 64 still is one of the best games ever created. Until Galaxy that is...

We need more 3D Mario platformers. I mean.. we got only 2 since 1996!

It is a hardcore game through and through. You will get your ass kicked by bosses. You will be stumped by the sometimes complex, but never overbearing, exploration.

I stopped reading when you said Bomberman. Granted the 360 version sucks, which tried to make it look all hardcore and realistic. But still, the original Bomberman guys? No way they can leave, way to sweet looking.

As for the original question? Eh, I say we could do without Sonic games. I mean I never understood that genre, run as fast as you can past the entire level? You don't even get to see what half the programmers did with the level, you just run past it all. I would hate to have been on the art design team for that game, all your work gets ignored :/

I disagree with FF and PKMN. Others can die.

Agreed, I like the FF games, each having a different story is quite nice. Allows each game to be different.

Yes, most of them can die, but some of them (Pokemon, Star Fox, Final Fantasy, Sonic) can be salvaged with a new game that is revolutionary yet in hindsight an obvious step (think first 3D Mario or Zelda).

These games should come on the Wii, for economic, canonical and Nintendo-biased reasons.

Star Fox Wii: Not on rails. Not an adventure game. Not like on the DS.
Pokemon: A. 3D. Pokemon. Adventure. That. Isn't. Made. By. Genius. Sonority.
FF: Graphical style and overall atmosphere could be made more casual and accessible yet have great depth in RPG-ness for those that want it.
Sonic: Um... maybe it isn't salvageable.

If you are interested in trying Ubuntu or Linux in general, PM me and I will answer your questions and help you install it if you wish.

I can agree with some of them. Not exactly Final Fantasy because they're all not part of the same story so I only find the name and some features being common in all of them. When it comes to Crash Bandicoot, I can agree that it needs to die only if Naughty Dog doesn't make it, I still own (and play) Crash 2 and 3 and they're fun.

I agree with PacMan and Mega Man, except for the fact that Mega Man used to be good before it went to an RPG - then it sucked!

Racing and sports die?!?!! Never, these are the best type of games.
