Forums - Gaming - Brawl Predictions: last two weeks of updates

O.K. So the Smash Brothers thread is on its 45th page and going strong. Today's announcement of Diddy Kong I would say was awesome, but here is the thing... I can't help but think that Nintendo would save the best for last. Does anyone else envision that the last two weeks of updates on the Brawl website will be totally, unimaginably spectaculor. And if so what would they be? What dazzling updates could they be saving to the very end and keep all of us at the very edge of our seat in anticipation? Personally, I have no idea; any thoughts, anybody?

Around the Network

Announcement of sonic, online, 8 player online mode, new stadium mode, Nintendo has a lot up their sleeve

I will never leave you

Trust me...they have everything planned out. It's been nearly 3 months I think, with ...oh crap...we're nearly into September...and SSBB comes out the very beginning of December! We're almost to 3 months left!

Trust me. They can fill 3 more months worth of juicy updates. Updates you can't even imagine about.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I really hope online is one of the updates! Or at least that it is given 100% confirmation no matter how they choose to divulge it.

To Each Man, Responsibility

I hope all these updates just stop.

As someone who wants to enjoy the experience first hand, I find it incredibly hard to avoid people screaming what the latest item/character is in the game.

I busted a nut for each new character I saw on the new list when I first played Melee. The same went for each secret character. I LOVED finding out what new item would drop and what crazy affects it would have... but it seems like this won't be happening for Brawl.

I visit Digg, and on the gaming section all I see are "ZOMG GIGA BOWER IN BRAWL", "DIDDY KONG IN BRAWL!!!!", "GOEY BOMBS! BANANAS! PITFALLS!"

It's like people can't just shut up. Is it that hard to say "New Character revealed!" or "New Brawl attack shown!" or "New items! Check out details inside!"?

I've even stopped visiting many forums because they simply can't be quiet.

I'm not saying "NO ONE SAY A WORD! NO TALKING ALLOWED". I just wish people learned to make generic, yet informative titles as to not spoil things so much. The people who want to know everything first will read whats inside, and the people who don't want to know won't approach the article and won't have anything spoiled.

Ahh... I always rant about this kind of stuff >_>
