I played the crackdown demo and it was fun. But I wanna know what is coming up in the consoles life. I don't want to buy it and then no great games are put out for like 2 years.

If you can afford to have 2 systems you really cant beat PS360. I'm getting a PS3 very soon.

But for 360 games that are worth the purchase alone as follows.

 On this note, you'll have to be patient. The way to look at it with M$ is every year for the last 3 years with 360 they havent dissapointed at all. In fact every year is better than the last. Wait till GDC to see this years more defined 360 lineup. It's always the same with 360.

I have the PS3 and the wii. I have no job at the moment, but as soon as I do find one I have nothing to spend money on other then games. Most of the games you listed selnor are meh, gears has gotten old after non stop at my friends hours for 2 months cause he is obsessive. Dead Rising does sound like fun. And I dont like any star ocean and i didn't like the lost Odyssey when i played my friends game.

Im taking any action games like Ninja gaidenish, onimushaish, DMC4ish, god of warish etc etc. FPS are everywhere, I have PS3 so ill be good with Killzone2 and the multiplatform FPS.

What is this alan wake thing? and does it require a god like PC like crysis?

 Trust me, if you like action games, Ninja Gaiden 2 is the best this gen, bar NONE. It has a depth of combat that is still unmatched. Story is jumpy though; but it is sooooo satisfying.

As For PC specs, not Crysis level but they are gonna hafta be damn high.

^ Hey cool if you dont like those games cool. But it's worth trying Lost Odyssey on your own to enjoy it properly. I'll be honest Both FF10 and 12 for me were beaten by Lost Odyssey and the VA is second none.

Alan Wake is like a thriller horror, no other way to explain it.

Theres an incredible variety in 360, but if the games arent your cup of tea dont get a 360.

I personally dont care what console a game is on as long as it plays well I'll love it. Same way even though Ive finished Uncharted I'll be buying it for my PS3 when it arrives.

I would highly recommend you Left 4 Dead. One of the best FPS this gen. Sure graphics are not as great as gears2 but this game is sooo much fun. Co-op on Xbox Live is awesome.

Fable2 is great. I really liked it. This is not a game to play at your friends house, because your character becomes kind of individual. So go ahead and play it for yourself. You will see how great the atmosphere is and how awesome the environment looks.

If you like Ninja Gaiden II, you should give Ninja Blade a try. Screenshots and movies look promising, don't know why japanese users didn't pick that up.

If you are into retro or creative games without a million dollar budget, you will LOVE Xbox Live Arcade. Braid / Castle Crashers / Uno / Geometry Wars(2) / Catan / Doom / Sonic etc. Some great games to download.

And of course Alan Wake looks more than promising. This seems to be a mixture of survival / action-adventure with a great story.

Forza 3 will be released this xmas. That's what the team for the menu said. I don't like racers at all (well except PURE, that was fun) but a lot of people are very positive about the Forza series. 4.36 million sales is a good indicator, even though it was bundled. So you should check this one if you are into racers.
