www.tesnexus.com is by far the best mod database for all Elder Scrolls games at least for Oblivion . But I think you have to be registered.

Does it cost any money to sign up?

 No no, and it's easy.

To be honest I've only installed the big graphics mod for Morrowind http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5535 (but many many for Oblivion since that's what I play by far the most). So when you familiarize with them post your tips here.

Okay, Thanks. I probably wont do that today. I am feeling lazy. Any you can recommend for oblivion if i should ever decide to mod that?(I have the PC and the PS3 versions)

There might be other newer versions of these mods I use, but you'll get the idea:

- Unofficial Oblivion Patch
- Oblivion Mod Manager
- OOO (Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul) - a must have that changes leveling, adds quests, mobs and tons of stuff, but also includes other essential mods such as an economy mod and a Natural Environment mod combo
- Oblivion Animation fixer
- Open cities
- Quarl's Texture pack 3 redimized (get one that suits your hardware)
- Deadly Reflex

These are the major, drastic ones that are important IMO.

Could you explain what they are? Lol.

- Unofficial Oblivion Patch - fixes 100s of bugs & minor things that the official patch didn't
- Oblivion Mod Manager - basically a tool to be able to use mods & activate them conveniently
- OOO (Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul) - a must have that changes leveling, adds quests, mobs and tons of stuff, but also includes other essential mods such as an Economy/barter mod and a Natural Environment mod combo
- Oblivion Animation fixer - fixes animation "bugs", but I know there are mods for a more drastical change of the (very criticized) animations in Oblivion, can't name one of these mods though
- Open cities - you can walk right into cities without a loading screen
- Quarl's Texture pack 3 redimized - exhanges all the original textures (not always for the best though lol, sometimes you can see an amateur painted them lol) . There are many of these "texture packs" so get one that suits your hardwarelimitations,
- Deadly Reflex - makes combat more challenging by changing enemy AI (sort of) and behaviour, gives the player more combat moves, changes pacing of fights and stuff

These are the major, drastic ones that are important IMO.

 Forgot one more favorite:

- Almost Everything VWD (visible when distant) - gives you insane view distance so that all ruins, buildings n stuff become visible even if they are far away. Needs good graphics card though.

The open cities one sounds awesome. the texture pack isn't bad. But I want to get mods that let me do something I cant do on my PS3. Fixing bugs and stuff isn't what I am looking for. The deadly Reflex is along the lines of what I am looking for. Any mods that add more enemies to fight? More items? etc etc?

OOO adds more enemies (a few new mobs but also how n where enemies spawn, especially bandits that now come in packs of 7-8 lol) and tons of new weapons & items, a dozen or so new quests, new camps, new Ayelid ruins.
