| Slimebeast said: There might be other newer versions of these mods I use, but you'll get the idea: - Unofficial Oblivion Patch - fixes 100s of bugs & minor things that the official patch didn't - Oblivion Mod Manager - basically a tool to be able to use mods & activate them conveniently - OOO (Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul) - a must have that changes leveling, adds quests, mobs and tons of stuff, but also includes other essential mods such as an Economy/barter mod and a Natural Environment mod combo - Oblivion Animation fixer - fixes animation "bugs", but I know there are mods for a more drastical change of the (very criticized) animations in Oblivion, can't name one of these mods though - Open cities - you can walk right into cities without a loading screen - Quarl's Texture pack 3 redimized - exhanges all the original textures (not always for the best though lol, sometimes you can see an amateur painted them lol) . There are many of these "texture packs" so get one that suits your hardwarelimitations, - Deadly Reflex - makes combat more challenging by changing enemy AI (sort of) and behaviour, gives the player more combat moves, changes pacing of fights and stuff These are the major, drastic ones that are important IMO. |
Forgot one more favorite:
- Almost Everything VWD (visible when distant) - gives you insane view distance so that all ruins, buildings n stuff become visible even if they are far away. Needs good graphics card though.
