All of Kratos' craziness is done while he is just a mortal (albeit a Greek hero-type mortal, which is saying a lot) and Dante's "demon" powers do not make up for the heer absurdity of some of the stuff he does in cutscenes, especially in DMC3, which was like an exercise in shoving lead sporks under my eyelids in terms of believability. I wouldn't have been bothered by them so much if you could do that sort of thing duing the gameplay - Kratos and Ryu can do almost everything you see them do in cutscenes. Dante's out in the cold.

And... Ryu's about as far from "classical" as you can get. He makes the guy in Ninja Blade look like a big weeping infant.

It looks like a fun game, but the combat seems a bit bland and there are way, way too many QTEs. I will enjoy it if Yahtzee ever reviews this game, though...

but at this time, he still has the support of the God and he is still using the "chaos blade" that were given by Ares.

Hack n sladh games are ALL so far from realism it's funny that this thread has even taken this route.

Hacker games are meant to be wildly OTT.

Very surprised with alot of posters here.

The reason that it will probably not be that great is the developer. From Software makes decent games, but I don't think they've made a single "amazing" game yet. Therefore I will remain cautious about getting my hopes up for anything that comes from them, and then be happily surprised if they prove me wrong and actually make a fantastic game.

 If GG can do it with KZ2 after their previous games, I'm sure that another dev could pull it off. But we will have to wait till we play it really.

exactly, it's not impossible, it certainly has happened before, but banking on a developer with a history making something better than anything before it is just silly.
