So the original Xbox only had 3 Franchises sell over 5m. 360 has already tripled it in only 3 years vs Xbox's 4+ and already has 3 10m +

Call Of duty obviously as it has yearly iterations then halo is pretty much garunteed.

1. COD - 40m+ (8+)

Comments (at least 1 more a year for 4 years sell an average of ~ 6m.

2. Halo - 25 - 35m (5 - 6)

 Comments (25m without Halo 4, 35 With, expect Halo Wars 3 - 4m+ With the good demo Impressions, ODST ~ 6m)

3. GOW - 18 - 20m (3)

Comments - only expect GOW 3 with an average of 6m each. GOW 4 wont be ready till 2012 or later possibly launch with xbox 3

4. Tom Clancy 15m+ (~12)

Comments - will have plenty of 1 - 2m more sellers, could snatch third if a game or sub franchise breaks out into the 3 - 4m range.

5. Guitar Hero 15m+ (9)

COmments - yearly iterations and spinoffs will see this make it into top 5. although it could die off drastically.

In averages, Halo is top and I'm unsure if Wars or ODST will lower it by much

Are you suggesting that those 2 will sell 9m copies each? I am unsure whether Wars will reach 1m, though that is purely guesswork, I don't think any console RTSs have sold 1m

i wonder how much halo 1 sold as an XBO

ODST will sell a minimum of 4-5 million.  It will be the last halo game from Bungie (they've said so many many times), it won't be a full priced game, and has all of the Halo maps and new ones plus the single player campaign.  Halo Wars I think will do 1 million, 2 million at the absolute maximum but probably more like 1.2 -1.4 million.

Did you guys play the demo? This is a very easy to pick up and fun to play rts that the masses can get in to. I think should sell atleast 3 mil...

yeah and i think its amazing. It will be a day one purchase for me i'm just not trying to hype it too much since it is a console RTS after all. I would rather say it'll sell a little over a million and have it hit 3 million and be pleasently surprised than say it'll do 4 million and end up only selling 1.5 million.

Either way the game is excellent and i hope it does very very well. I love Ensemble.

Yeah I agree. All my freinds that I usually rock halo 3 with were like..."I don't know, an RTS? Meh..." then they tried the demo and now can't wait till we get to go 3 VS 3 online when the game comes out.
