Forums - Microsoft - I need help! Please!

I just bought a 360 acrcade off eBay to replace my RRoD pro, (alot of you by now would be thinking this is the problem, your probably right...) and it was pretty much brand new as it was an unwanted christmas gift. The manufacture date is 2nd of November 2008. I thought it was a pretty good deal for $240 (AUD). Anyway, i plugged it up to my 32" LG plasma in my room put the power in correctly as well as the AV cables, and i get no picture or sound or anything.... The green light in the middle of the 4 quadrants turns on and thats it, the fan seems to be running as well as the DVD drive.

Any Thoughs?

Around the Network

I am assuming that your pro was over 3 years old and out of warranty. It still would have been cheaper to get it repaired.

I know but I wanted a newer, quieter 360 with a HDMI port.

You know you don't get sent back your 360.

What kind of av cable are you using? I would double check to make sure you have the tv on the correct channel. If you changed it to an HDMI port don't forget the channel will change, or atleast on my tv it would.

I have like 10 different channels it could be on, and some tv's allow you to delete the ones your not using. If you have deleted that channel you will have to manually go back in and re-add it.

Hope this helps you. You may also want to check and see a dvd will spin in the disc tray. Or try and manually turn off the console with your remote controll. If it does that you probably have a problem with the cables or the tv.
