Edge makes no sense. They give Gears 2 and Fable II 9s, Halo 3 a 10, but they give Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 a 7s, and MGS4 an 8.

And then they gave LBP a 10.

It seems rather inconsistent to me (more so than most websites/magazines). But then, that's the way of the reviewing world.

Maybe they are friends with these fellow brits (Media Molecule), so LBP got a free pass for not being on the 360. GTA IV by british developer Rockstar got a perfect score as well, although I think it's a great game, IMO it's far from perfect especially over the pre-patch period.

As I said before this is speculation, but I certainly see a lot of inconsistancy with regard to their scoring (maybe based on platform and developer).

Edge magazines Average Xbox 360 Review: 6.3

Edge Magazines Average PS3 reveiw: 6.6

Say what now?

Edge is hard on everybody.

It's funny how you people who scream bias never look at these stats when they're available for everbody to see.

Well it's not funny.  It's expected.

Not hard on everybody, else Halo 3 and GTA IV would never have been able to achieve perfect scores.

IMO and this goes for many different review sites out there, many PS3 multi-platform games have been overrated in comparison to PS3 exclusives. I think a reason for this may be that they originally received good scores on the 360 as well before these PS3 reviews were published.

Here comes the damage control

The controls are not bad its just slower then most....

How would that effect the aggregate rating?

Are you suggesting Edge has ratted PS3 multi-platform games higher then 360 multi-platform games?  Let alone enough to give you a dispairity in teh average review score

If so do you have any proof to this....

Or are you using your normal "Lets BS my way through this." approach.

All the multi-platform games i've looked up have the same review score.

@ Kasz216

All the 360 best sold 3rd party published games have been released for the PS3 as well. In addition the 360 has more shovelware which never got re-released for the PS3.

Understand?
