He has a point about the HD consoles. The 360 and PS3 are viewed in a completely different way as the Wii.

Wii demand Bethesda serve us. They owe us due to the Nintendominance. I have that Star Trek Conquest game for the Wii. I supported these people by buying this stinky game... gave them my very lifeblood. Now? They run out and call my Wii not worthy of their greatness.
Now I turn my back on them! The scum. Beer will not betray me like Bethesda has!
He didn't say he thought those systems are kill fests. he said most people think that way.

Well, there is no "They" in the article being that it is an interview with one man ... This man also happens to own a Wii and is enjoying playing World of Goo on it so I'm not sure if I would say he "doesn't like it" From what I read, it sounded like an interview where he was asked leading questions, his answers were cherry-picked and taken out of context to create controversy where there really isn't any, and people (like you) are reading too much into this to support your own biases. |
Couldn't he be playing World of Goo on PC?

I agree, the Wii's 9.4 gb of disc space is less than the 8 gb available on a 360 disc

I think they are both 9 GBs
Anyway, its not the amount of info, its the size of the gameworld. If you have played fallout3 you know that you can see certain buildings from the other side of the map(this is the size of a city). The Wii cannot handle that at high graphical settigs.

I don't think he meant "too big".
Clearly, BIG is some sort of acronym, hence, "to BIG". Acronym usually appears as all caps in the middle of the sentence.
So, what's BIG stands for?

Coreect and incorrect at the same time. Microsoft reserves a rather large amount of space for their DRM and such not. I don't have hard numbers on the Wii disc, but it is my understanding that it requires for less space for it. Of course that is hard to compare since only one Wii game has ever had to be dual layered.
No that can't be right. Wii Sports was a launch title for the Wii and has done more to change the industry than any other game released in the last 2 generations.
