EA just likes to fan the flames of Fanboy wars! The only way ME2 will come to the PS3 is with tons of money being paid back to M$ or some other type of back rubbing.

That's funny. The game is a huge hit. Why should MS do that? Did Sony offer GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas to MS for the Xbox? Either get a PC or a 360 because it's never coming.
After reading that Bioware PR release, I am convinced MS has rights to the ME franchise - pre-existing - and will definitely allow for PC types to play ME, but if EA had to 'reach an agreement' with MS just to publish on PC, you can forget seeing it on the competing box, unless it involves a first-born.

but EA owns ME IP not MS.so they don't need MS permission

EA owned the ME IP when the PC version was published. You are reading over that - EA had to strike a deal with MS to let EA publish the PC versions and future versions of the game.
What on God's green earth would make MS say 'Here are the keys to the kingdom' and let ME be published on the PS3?
I am wholly convinced it will never, ever happen. After seeing the Bioware PR release and EA's quotes - and their recent quotes - KZ2 has a better chance of appearing on the 360 than the ME franchise.

Don't compare Mass Effect to the GTA franchise. GTA is a system seller, I don't think Mass Effect is. It's a game that sold fairly well but nothing more. The reason MS should do it is to get money, I thought it was obvious. They'd make more money selling the rights than they would keeping it as an exclusive over a year after it was released. They are not selling the franchise since they don't own it and will most likely eventually start to be multiplat on the PS3 anyways.
As for that last statement. My point is that no one will buy a PC or a 360 just to play this game. I have no desire to play this game myself, if you were directing that comment at me. I was purely speaking from a business standpoint if I was MS.
There is still a chance for the Wii version.

Lets wait and see what happens.
the reason they are mysterious is to create hype for this game. People will talk about it in forums (ie the amount of posts on Killzone 2 here compared to Resistance 2)
Hopefully it comes out
