well, today i went to the store, and asked for the parts... they didnt have many of them.. so, they recommended me this:

is this good? lol.. around the best we have here (argentina)

gtx295 around 1000 dolars.. so impossible to buy

The way that is written it would appear to be 2 x 1GB so 2gb total of DDR2 ram.

That motherboard is pretty pricy I think (well was when I was getting my PC).

I really don't want to look up the specs of it. However may want to compare it to say a Gigabyte MA-790X-DS4.

From memory the reason I went for the gigabyte over an MSI was price, and because it had a better onboard audio HD 7.1 chip on it.

MSI may have upgraded. Not sure.

Also make sure you get a board with Lower ESR solid design capacitors. (they are metal cased unlike traditional capacitors. These will give your board a longer life.

I am pretty sure most tmodern boards use them but be careful.

How much is a 9800GTX where you are?

Because to be honest it either beats or matches it in everything and a single GPU solution always results in less problems than a dual GPU card.

So it de[pends on price difference and how easily you wanna make games work.

I dont know about the 3870X2

I got the 4870X2 plus 2 x 1tb hdds the 4850 PHENOM cpu and all I have is a 550W PSU.

You just need to get a quality PSU. Not a generic because generics say 550W but that means its peak (in reality it is probably 400W constant), where as a good brand PSU antec, seasonic, etc.. mean 550W constant output.

So a GTX 295 costs double the price over there?

Hmm... what do the other parts you listed cost?

Everything but the graphics card is good. Well, the 3870X2 is decent, but it feels kind of old.. so it depends on how much that store will take for it. Do you live in a small town? I'm sure you can find a 4850 or a 4870 somewhere.

i live in rosario.. the only city thats bigger is buenos aires... well, the gtx295 cost 600 pesos more (200 dolars), i'll search for other card.. could you give me some ideas? cause they didnt had the 4870 x2 ¬¬
