I would either get pirated games or move to the US.
games cost 75 dollars on my country(60 for bargain games) 150 dollars for guitar heros'

Hell no. If it was a Bio-Ware game, I'd be willing to pay like $75-85 but for any other company, no. They've got a history and are batting with a 100% average imo. KOTOR, Jade Empire and Mass Effect are awesome games. For them, i'd drop extra. But for any other title, no way. Thats far too much risk imo.
The used game market would be massive. On average, I think the industry would die. Only the hugest of the huge (ie Halo, Call of Duty, Gears, GTA) would get high sales at that outrageous a price.

This. Just got to hunt down the good prices on new games. Amazon.co.uk + low pound = awesome prices!
I would, but I definatly wouldn't buy as much.
If you think about it, thats pretty much what games used to cost (inflation adjusted) when I was young.

No...
that is my biggest hate for HD platforms, the increase of base price to 70€
on the other hand all Nint Wii games I saw released to 50€
However I do have to admit that in the 1990ies i did already pay 350-400 Frs for games (which was 50-60€)....
I just can't bring myself to account for the rise in living costs for games....
