360 continues the Europe domination over PS3. The tables have turned folks.

KZ2 should change that for a bit in the coming weeks.

Wii > PS3 + 360 WW. Good.

The Wii is faking it, so it doesn't count.

Faking it? That's the first time I've heard someone use that :P

Don't you mean "The Wii isn't in competition with the HD consoles, so it doesn't count"? :P

Nonono, its only pretending to outsell the PS/360 combination. The reality is, Nintendo is doing an Enron and buying up the games/consoles off the shelves to give the impression of success!

I doubt the greedy little bastards stop there. They more then likely buy them back from the retailers, thus creating this "artificial demand" (it's still a hot item!) and then sell them on E-bay for 300 dollar!

Any gains from kz2 will be short term and minimal in the grand scheme of things.

hats off to sony and ps3. more than 20 million ps3's sold. with the most expensive price of all next gen consoles and during a recession. great!

Will be interesting for the next few weeks. In UK we are massive fighting fans so i would expect StreetFighter 4 to do well here, possibly better then KZ2 which i still expect to do great.
Halo Wars is a game i can't see doing that great here so i would hazard a guess things will be closer for awhile here. PS3 games are now cheaper and can get the console for £250 in some places. If they can get SF4 and KZ2 into a bundle i would expect it to fly off the shelves!

Check bolded. I meant short term gains. It does SOUND like KZ2 has some clout in EU. How many non-ps3 owners that are buying the game is up to debate though. It would make sense to me to start seeing small gains in hardware sales now in preparation for launch, but everything is roughly the same as before. Should be interesting.

I missed that part of your post. Those gains could be mitigated by the halo wars and halo 3 bundle though.

Ummm, it's been a sales disaster for the PS3 once the recession kicked in. PS3 had a 10-15% year on year drop over the holiday seasons, while Wii/360 had gains.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.
