wii : CPU= 729 mhz (power pc G3)
GPU= 243 mhz
RAM= 88 mo
xbox: CPU= 733 mhz (intel PIII)
GPU= 233 mhz
RAM= 64mo
i think WII beat XBOX
It's not as simple as lining up specs side by side. I think the Wii beats Xbox too. For it's time, the Xbox was a hardware beast, though.

You can't compare directly like that. Nintendo and MS are using completely different types of architectures.
The Wii is definitely more powerful when you compare its specially designed products to MS's off the shelf poorer quality items.
The hardware in the Wii is a lot more modern and expensive than of the Xbox. Which is kind of obvious, as the Wii is a current-gen system, whereas the Xbox is now quite old.
The only real advantage the Xbox has over the Wii is that it has a hard drive. Developers hate the fact that the Wii doesn't have a HDD.
