i saw my nana for the first time in 16 years today and it went so well and im gonna see her this week and now i just need to get my mama to stop being so hateful and OG what a good day!

I am so mad! I have not slept worth a crap in over a week. However, once I went to sleep last night I slept for 11 hours. Completely over sleeping being able to run any of my errands today!

@Trashleg, What made your mother not like her mother so much that they haven't seen each other in so long?, no matter what it is they should get over it, family is a very important thing.

i think my grandmother had a lot of issues when she was younger, and treated my mumma quite badly.. they always had a turbulent relationship. i dunno, i was only 4 the last time i saw her. but i remembered it really clearly. it always bugged me, then when my ex-boyfriend's granny died (i knew her for 5 years) i thought it was stupid to not see mine, even though my mum didnt want me to. so i went to see her anyway, and told my mum when i got home. not sure how she took it :-/ (like you say, family is important! i hope people dont think i did a bad thing).

um.  think she just has such a huge load of resentment, i dunno.

or maybe she didnt want me being hurt?

it doesnt matter any more. i have my nana back and i've made her very happy! my life is getting soooo good lately. *touch wood*

Problems are problems they come and go, but you get one (erm) Two grandma's. Glad your life is going well. Mine is a bit mixed atm. On one hand I am for the first time since like 4th grade making A's in classes. (college) ON the other hand Where I have worked for the past 2 years shut down last week. I have screwed up shoulders from a few years ago. It hurts to lift my arms above my head much and hurts like hell to do much lifting. With all these people looking for work around here, no one wants to work around my schooling, or take damaged goods.
