God, why does my Ex want to visit me? I have moved on. Time to make up some reasons why I am too busy for a copy weeks. HaHa.

I'm getting old.

I spent the last couple of days on the campus of Clemson University being ignored by girls that I would turn away three years ago(maybe I wouldn't exactly turn them away but I WOULD have better options.....).  I turn 35 years old on May 19th.  Yeh, I had a hell of a run but looking at all of these supermodel-esque college girls fawning over these chisel chested college guys.......it's pretty humbling.  I used to walk into a room without a doubt that I was the coolest/sexiest motherfucker, there.  Now, I feel like that creep old man.  Getting old sucks.

Yup, turns out they treat you like absolute shit for jury duty.  The website I went to was full of it.  We get 27 cents per mile for our trip to and from the courthouse (so if you get less than 15 miles per gallon, you are actually losing money driving in), and each day we report (whether or not we actually get in a trial), we get paid $10.  10 fucking dollars.  This is whether you serve a full day, or get to leave at 10:50 such as I did, etc.  So basically, after just spending 4 hours of my time driving in, sitting and doing absolutely nothing, and driving back home, I get to get paid $23, $8 of which goes towards gas.

I don't give a shit if it is good for the judicial system that we do something like this, you can still at least pay a decent wage for being such an inconvenience to people.  I personally think the prevailing rate of 51 or 53 or 55 (not totally sure what it is) cents per mile should be used, plus $20 for going in, and an additional $20 each day you serve on a trial.  Even that isn't a lot, but the amount I'm getting paid is fricking ridiculous.

I'm in summer school. Not that bad on the whole, as pity for my predicament (having study abroad yanked out from under me far after i could have enrolled in normal semester) netted me a pretty sweet on-campus apartment for $300 (which would normally cost somewhere on the order of $4,000 for the semester), with two bathrooms (though only one shower, but that's where being a shower-before-bed guy comes in handy)

My one roommate is pretty cool, and the other two will be gone intermittently throughout the summer and don't hang out much here in the first place. All i need is my damn DTA cable box from Comcast, and i'll be set.

Oh, their food selection is much poorer in summer and the prices are downright outrageous even by their standards, but i was prepared for problems on that front

About to watch house,and I'm glad house got picked up for an eighth season,pluse the PSN online part is back,so it's been a decent day so far.
