Really confused about few things in MGS3, I just started playing it today and I only played MGS1 so I hope I'm not missing something, or that it get's explained later on in the game.
(I've clocked 2 and a half hours in it so far and I think 45 mins of that was gameplay, the rest was all cutscenes lo)

Every time someone mentions playing MGS3 for the first time, I get a huge stiffy! Please post your impressions sometime in the future. I'm replaying it right now too. I love this game, and soon you will too.

lmao well I was going to wait to play MGS2 first but I had to many problems trying to obtain that game that I just gave up and couldn't take it anymore and had to play MGS3, I'll be sure to give my impressions once I'm done playing it.
I am going to go on such an Xbox 360 game shopping orgy, that it's not even funny!

Do you get BBC (america) on your TV? I just started watching that channel frequently. Their news is wonderful. Last night I saw them doing a story on the recessions impact on china (not something we would see on american tv) and it was really really sad. Its not often that news can actually emotionally move me at all.
As for me... at the moment I'm just frustrated because all my plans for the day fell apart. I was really looking forward to today too. So now I'm just going to my friends house to chill. Better than sitting around on the internet all night I guess.

So my friend and I are planning this trip next month - we have a couple of guys coming with us. We have two beds - I didn't think we were gonna coed this. But suddenly my friend declares that shes going to sleep with one of these guys... leaving me with the other one. Who I don't know. Is it just me or does this situation sound really awkward?

Sounds a little awkward to me. I've had my share of flings, but they were always on my terms, with women I chose to be with. This was sort of just dumped on you. It could be fun, but it seems a lot like you're being pimped out to the other guy. In the end, you're a big girl. It's up to you how this plays out.
