These are current retail preorder numbers for Europe, Reeves mentioned it in his BBC interview.
This game is going to be huge.
I predict Killzone will become Sony's second biggest gaming franchise, just behind Gran Turismo.

well arent you a troll. There is always a possibly that a PS3 game let alone a gmae like Killzone 2 to have a 1.1 million first week. There is still a few more weeks left and mattering customer demand these numbers will increase. As they increase the possibility that 1m in a region increases.

I'm not here to shit on anyone's parade, I'm just being realistic. No one in their right mind would predict 1million first week sales in Europe alone. Not even MGS4 got 1million in Europe, I doubt KZ2 will.

thrid;) behing god of war .
what did he say in BBC?
wow if it really is store preorders for just one region then that's amazing
I never thought my 1.3 million first week prediction would be to low
great news for sony
to think that the ad campaign and demo are yet to come.the game is 3 weeks from release after all ;).
The same stuff as in Guardian - http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2009/feb/05/david-reeves-sony-europe-losses
Oh, and I still think Killzone will be much bigger than God of War - especially in Europe.

Come on now. It's a little unreasonable to think Killzone 2 to sell 1.1 million first week in Europe.

Does anyone know the advertising budget for MGS4 in UK? we know that KZ2 has about 2kk pounds last i heard...is that bigger or smaller than what MGS4 had?
