Forums - Nintendo - 2 new WiiWare games from Hudson: Onslaught and Adventure Island WiiWare

The official website has screens up. Not too shabby for WiiWare.

I'm curious as to how much content they'll have. If the maps are good and the gameplay is tight, just a few maps could entertain for hours.

It is nice to know that Wii Ware is getting an online game. Tetris party is currently the best of online Wii Ware games. Hopefully Onslaught will look toward the Conduit/Medal of Honour 2 or Metroid Prime for the control. Voice chart (or text chart) is important for any online co-op game so lets hope they use Wii Speak.

If Adventure Island is AS GOOD AS Super Adventure Island 2, I will come. Literally! o_O

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Adventure Island? Hell yes. Forget Super Adventure Island, make it like New Adventure Island, that game rocks.

Did XBLA have online FPS before the 50MB cap was lifted? If so, then doing it on the Wii should be simple.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

That FPS game looks a bit like Halo in the screenshots. And it has 4-player co-op, something never done before on the Wii.

Finally, some "real" games for WiiWare. Most of the games on WW so far have been minigames or little more than screensavers (or just crap). These will go along nicely with World of Goo, Tetris Party and the few other good titles.

I'll come up with something better eventually...
