It probably will be.  Still, I'm sure it will be worth the price of admission for some male gamers.

You're right, though. All the coverage i've seen is of the Wii version. Might just be because of the relative scarcity of "core-targeted games" on the Wii, so the "core-targeted websites" have been covering it.

How can you hate a game just because its hold women in a derogatory light, I mean c'mon open your minds a little, jeez. =P

Anyway it looks like a good beat em up and I'll pick this over chop til you drop as I've actually been following this game enough to know it won't suck, not saying chop til you drop will suck, just saying I didn't follow that game.

In Japan, OneChanbara is part of D3's Simple 2000 Series. The simple series started on the PS1 as just simple games for 1500 Yen. (Simple 1500 Series) Orginally it was just really simple stuff like Simple 1500 Series: The Chess, The Hanafuda, The Mahjong.

Later the simple series included more complex budget games with werid ideas. Like OneChanbara, Earth Defense Force, or The Large Beautiful Woman.

D3 said they couldn't continue the Simple Series on the PS3/360, likely because of the cost. However they'll keep making the series for the Wii. I'm hoping for EDF 4 on the Wii myself.

Wow that video actually made it look not half bad. I thought it was just gonna be a load of shovelware

Actually:

1. The camera of the this game isn't bad at all
2. The unlockables in this game and it's replay value is in getting different outfits for the girls, I believe you can control up to 3 different girls.

It is indeed satire. Jonathan Swift would be proud.
