the funny thing is that it's #1 or 2 ranked in PREORDER rankings. I doubt people will preorder, hum, say tenchu or burnout? Though, it's impressive considering that RE5 and SF4 is right around the corner.

What I don't understand is why people still preorder games? I've never preordered mine and I've always got what I wanted on day one.

At my store we have 22 pre-orders for KZ2, 13 for the 360 version of SFIV, 9 for the ps3 version, and 10 for each version of RE5. I combined SEs and CEs in those totals.

Impressive. I'm sure this game will sell like crazy at launch due to the extensive amount of spotlight it got in the years leading up to launch and the hype in the month before it's launched which is being fueled by the incoming reviews is immense. I come on any video game website and all I see is Killzone 2. I'm not sure of the advertising capaigne it's getting, but if it gets plenty of advertising, then it should sell immensly, I would think.

But seriously, that's a good comparison.  KZ2 is beating out RE5 on both consoles, and RE is a very popular series.
