Good luck guys By the way, will the mods be able to move threads if they are in the wrong section?

I think it's a good call with the four of them. One I'm a little iffy about, but we'll see how they pan out. I have lots of faith in the other three though. :D Good choice Wii_Gamer, and by that I mean thank EFING GOD you didn't choose Kwaad, the paid game hax0r elite pwn you with his awesome mod skills dude.

Hear, hear!

2004 Lincoln LSV8 - ~$15,000

K&N Cold Air Intake - $300

Handheld ECU Reprogrammer - $400

Can we get an IRC mod channel going, or an AIM room or a conference call or something? I think that would be the best way to try to iron out some rules. At least something away from the public eye(and mouth).

Probably IRC or AIM A permanently open IRC channel might actually be a good idea. Any mods on duty can be signed in there, and regular users can join to report things as needed, but other than that only official mods allowed.

I think we should get an IRC channel going. (Not a mod-oriented one, but a public IRC channel for vgcharts.) If you want, IM me on AIM (I'm NSiderNFreak) and I can show you an IRC bot I made. Also, you can go to chat.nfreak.net to see what my bot collected. I can help you set up something similar to that. I didn't think it possible with my server because they don't allow shell access but I just sneaked some PHP commands in (namely file_get_contents();) and manipulated it to just run a script on my server. Really easy, actually.

Might not be a bad idea. I suggest MSN! Although for the most part, I'd imagine we could be pretty open on the rule making process. What's more important to me is if we'll eventually get the option of private messages, as they'd really help the mod task.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Thanks very much! I too look forward to the growth of this site and the forums.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

gmail would work great. It dont have adds and anything like that, it is web-based, and it does have a downloable client. I think you guys useing gmail would be great, because it archives everything as well, so if you ever question something said before... just type it in a search thing, and it shows every time you talked about it. edit: I am reffering to the fact it has full e-mail, and chat

I may have not registered or posted, but I have been visiting this site fairly often. Often times, I do see some bickering and disagreement here, but all in all, I'd say this is a good community to discuss things with. I've registered on this site now to join these discussions, and I congratulate the new mods for earning their positions. I look forward to participating here.

Yeah, I finally have a sig.
