I would agree that too much anything is bad, but games are much better than T.V. shows imo.

Ridiculous.
On the converse, I find the most depressed teens and children are the ones who lack motivation, ambition, they lack a calling. Videogames remove this issue, with a click of a button you could be saving a galaxy, or better yet, playing sex minigames.
Its more to do with socialising and communication between people and even then its a product of your upbringing. If your parents and you watched tv alot that behaviour continues.
