i didnt have ANY problems with the controls at all.........

Awesome, I was hoping it came out today and not the 5th. The 5th is reserved for Killzone 2 , I will be looking forward to compare RE 5 graphics with KZ 2 graphics. RE 5 has pretty great graphics so if KZ2 manages to squash that, I'd be sooo amazed.

yeah i finished DLing it i just tried it for a sec some things i noticed the game fits nicely on my 4:3 screen wen u set up ur ps3 to 16:9 so i was happy bout that

Its very much the same as RE4 right down to the menu sounds idk wat took this game so long to come out. I haven't gotten to play the demo all the way through i want to sit down with it wen i have more time to play through it all the way

So, it will be hitting the US store this Thursday right?? I don't wanna make another UK account just for a demo...

I'm very interested to see what score Gametrailers will give it. It has been their most anticipated game for about two years now, they've praised it to no end, gave it awards upon awards, and ultimately it sucks. Will they be honest with themselves and admit it ? Or will they give it a perfect score ?

Damn my tv is on repair should get it this week. I wanted to try the demo and see how much they have screwed the franchise :(

the by far most annoying part of RE5 in my opinion is the reloading - you can't move while reloading and you can't stop the reloading animation .. because of that I died to the chainsaw guy twice, for Chris just didn't stop reloading his rifle *sigh*

just gave it a nother try this time in online coop ... its much better than having the dense npc with you .. even though the game itself isnt all that good.. it COULD be great if you play it with somebody else

as for the controls yes they arent as good as in re4 but if you turn  "aim movement" speed on faster ..or fastest its okay  .. im expecting a 8. something rating for this one if nothing goes wrong

I really like it, and is my most anticipated games of 2009. I posted impressions in the thread in the nintendo forum so go there if you want to read them. Overall, this game is very fun in online co-op and can't wait to play through it. I see it reviewing at 84-88 meta (just for predictions sake).
