ouch. I remember someone saying that this would be a key game for the PS3 :S the fact that it hasnt gotten a very good review in a Playstation mag wont exactly help it very much.
Over 90% of the posts in this thread are wii owners bashing Sony, why don't you guys get a life and stay in the wii threads. This is exactly what i said in the fanboy thread, one thing comes out for Sony and wii owners go all mental on Sony. Thanks for proving me right guys.
Do you guys even have any idea what PSM is, it is a third party magazine, not owned or run by Sony unlike Nintendo Power and Nintendo.
These games are perfect in what they do, if you give warhawk to a guy that plays JRPG's he will give it low scores, if you give lair to a guy that plays Unreal he will rate it poorly. This is what happened here.

Your logic is pretty much bad Warlord_, would you want to play nintendogs if you were a FPS hardcroe fanboy? They obviously just don't throw games to the 1st person they see, they choose people familiar with the genre so they don't give biased reviews.

Personally, when I played the Warhawk beta on my buddy's PS3, I would have rated it at an 8-8.5 if it didn't have the bugs (which I'm sure the final version doesn't). This is my point about all reviews: read them, see what people have to say, but don't assume that they necessarily feel the same way about the game that you will. That doesn't mean you need to call reviewers fanboys, but just understand that reviewers are people too, and they are reviewing based on opinions. They aren't computers, and they aren't flawlessly analyzing a game's value. They do the best they can, but don't take any single review as fact, ever, no matter who wrote it. That's my thoughts on this. |

They have reviews and they review everything, even if they dont like the genre.

I'll say "Future Tactics" was one of my favorite Gamecube games and it's got a metcritic review of 63.
Turned based FPS/adventure game? Who could resist? Sure most of the characters sucked (cept the british rabit) but it was a fun game all around. Pretty inovative too with the ducking behind cover, firing, but making sure you have enough room do duck back behind the building... that and going from area to area to mislead enemies and send down grenade launcher attacks on them...
Only things missing were better AI and a better characters. They still have loads of those games for all three systems at my Toys R Us for like 5 dollars.
