I would think the word overhype would mean that it's being hyped too much, so there's one thing that could be wrong.
About it being a big deal: It's annoying, like any other fanboyish tendency.

@a - I am sorry, I thought you wanted links showing the anti-hype for Killzone on VGC.
Anyway, we have pretty much derailed Darth's thread. I am sorry for that. I do think that Killzone 2 has in many respects vindicated itself based upon the 2005 criticisms. It is hard to label it as the "Comeback Kid", but if the early reviews are any measurement it should be a very good game.

How many times do I have to say this? I didn't ask for any links! I was pointing out the irony, that's all.
Finally, fanboys are annoying. You would concur, right? Of course it doesn't affect my well-being, but, I imagine, neither did the Killzone 2 haters that apparently inspired the creation of this thread (another irony).

Well, it is also ironic that we are still waiting to be provided with at least 1 link that shows VGChartz users claiming KZ2 to be a Halo-Killer, Messiah, Be-all End-all, etc... after 1+ months of us being called out for saying it.
See the difference here?
