I've seen your posts, and you always tend to pick the Wii out of the bunch. E.g. Wii fanboys are the worst of the bunch, can't wait for MH3 to fail (why?), etc.

Funny thing is, it's not just Wii fanboys that have huge expectations of this game, just like it wasn't Sony fanboys that thought the PS3 would win this gen. It just seems like the game is trending that way - see psrock's post above, that guy is far from a Wii fanboy.


OT: My prediction, finally. Would help if I knew Japan better, but I don't, so it's something of a shot in the dark:

500k first week, 1.5mil lifetime.

Ima say opening week of 500k-600k..Lifetime...probably 1.6-2million in Japan alone.

You have to be somewhat realistic in comparisons. The best selling current generation third party home console game is MGS4 and that is still under 700k. Just beating that number would be an accomplishment.
