I'm one of them; Monster Hunter G Wii will reach a million in Japan; MH3 will surely surpass MHF2G for the PSP.

I'm not going to bother finding posts on this forum but if your not going to trust what I have to say so be it. More then enough MH3 threads where people expect the game to be huge in Japan for the Wii have come across, go ahead and search for one. Another fantastic one is fanboys foaming from there mouths when I say they will be a MH3G for the PSP as though people honestly think Capcom will not make another MH for the PSP.

Yes I have seen the link to where Capcom said they would be no PSP version, absolutely shocking to see the game not be announced for the PSP yet when the Wii version has yet to be released..............

Where have you been Rhonin, I am shocked you have yet to see a post where someone has said MH3 will be huge on the Wii, that of your just lying. -_-

Monster Hunter =/= Monster Hunter Freedom

Oh indeed, the Freedom games have more features and make Capcom huge sums of money.

You guys are aware that many of the portable MH's saw quite a few rereleases and repackages, so I believe F had like 3 versions and G for the PS2 had 2 versions, MH 2 didn't even see a repackage. The second one for G was something about PS2 being the best. Either way public interest grew because Capcom made a huge effort on the marketing side, the game didn't just pick up because it went to portable.

Capcom invested a lot into the marketing, the more noted one because it's on the Wii and even one that should be fresh in the memories of those who were paying attention for 2GF was that MH PSP model (which is now out of date V_V) which saw a huge jump in PSP sales, and the MH VC controller bundle.

O.o Just saying the Wii version will only be recognized as far as Capcom pushes it.

Yes, there have been a few people that have overestimated sales, but RPG has been obsessed with proving a the few overzealous people wrong, which is just as bad. By being so obsessed, he has shown his spots and it's not pretty.

I have searched and could only find a few that predicted above 2,5 million units, I think under 8( I saw you routsounmanman, but RPG was making it sound like everybody is expecting this games to sell above 5 million or something).

5 million? By the time the game comes out Wii will be lucky to score 10% attach ratio on that game. That's basically what MKWii is doing now.
