So after my original NES died I decided to sell my entire collection of nintendo hardware/software/accessories. After spending 1.5 weeks of my month off from work making a list of items, pricing, and carefully packaging, the 17 boxes left my house at 8:12pm EST on 1/31/09.  A relative of a co-worker drove 750 miles to pick it up. 

That being said... now its time to build my wet bar in the den! woohoo.  But nintendo is now absent from my home :(.  It feels naked in here.

... Why didn't bouy another NES?

You could have bought another NES for 10 bucks! WHY!

Well, I only played it once a week and I didn't play any of the other systems at all.  Most of what I sold was still sealed and for collecting reasons only.  I needed the space it was taking up in my den for a full service bar.  I'm sure I'll eventually buy a NES off ebay and the 3-5 games I played for novelty but I don't need em. 

blasphemy....how could you? you should feel ashamed. You could have bought another "toaster" version for 15 or 20 bucks. A new Yobo one for 20 or 25 or a nice top loader for whatever they are going for on ebay now ($80-100?)....i suggest u redeem yourself by starting your collection all over again.

How sad..... I wish my NES was never stolen from me. I should have never left it at my parents rental house along with my Genesis which are both MIA..... Oh the sweet memories...

Well This month is classic love month and I have scheduled to bring out the NES and play it with my wife. I hope it doesn't suffer the same fate.
