Oh, man, I know how you feel. My university roommate last year was a good friend from high school, and I sorta expected that we'd hang out once in a while. Boy, was I wrong. Hell, he even skipped two weeks of classes when WotLK came out... sad... really sad...

Whoa, that's like almost exactly what happened to me. A good friend of mine who I'd known for a long time and became my roommate when we went to college got into WoW. Before that, he was always saying how that game destroyed lives and all that, so that was why I was totally shocked and thought he was kidding when I found out he had started playing it himself. It's just insane. He totally f*cked up and had to quit college because he didn't do anything, just sit around behind his computer playing the damn game. Seriously, he could just sit there and do nothing but play that game, sometimes all night long. Wouldn't leave the room except to go to the bathroom or something. Sometimes not even that and he'd just play for like 14 hours straight. A normal person couldn't do that. It's not healthy. At one point he said he'd gotten sick and tired of the game and that he'd stopped playing it. And I actually believed that. Lasted for 2 or 3 days. I dunno, we kinda lost touch, what with him quitting college and all. Haven't talked to him in months now. Honestly, that game destroys lives.
Seriously, anyone considering trying WoW: don't. Please, for the love of God, mankind, and all that is good, please don't.
