Dont companies deny pricecut speculation the entire time until the pricecut actually happens?

That would be horrible for Sony to come out and say 'We will br dropping the PS3 price by $100 in March', no one would buy the console until then...

Id say dont let their denial smash your hopes of a pricecut

I presented my opinion, which is that it's very likely there isn't a price cut this year. It's just an opinion, deal with it. And most of all don't start suddenly insulting people please.

Regarding the price, notice I was talking about Europe (where I live). The situation is not the same as in USA.

No, but I think most people believe the PS3 and 360 are very similar by just looking at the huge 360 turnaround due to the price cut. Since that's the case, the PS3 always costing higher than the 360 isn't that good unless they get a lot more quality exclusives.

Thinking logically, I don't see how the PS3 could ever be cheaper.

Problem is that denying is the only answer for pricecuts in both cases(pricecut or no pricecut).

And I think that if WII keeps selling like this PS3 can be eventually cheaper than WII, but thats not because nintendo can't drop price. Its because WII is printing money even if they keep selling it at initial price. :D
