Forums - Gaming - VGChartz XBox 360 Gamerscore League - The Return

Wait, wait. Is it really ok for me to get the achiever of the week award? I had problems signing the last 2-3 weeks. So when I did, I got 3 weeks worth of gamerscore in a single update. I would get it anyway (considering I earned almost 3k in the last 2 days) if I updated earlier this morning. The problem is that next time I sign in, the score will jump another 3K from the last 2 days + what I get the next week. Is it really alright to earn a "of the week" award when I have more weeks than the other guys?
If I win something I want to win without any kind of advantage.

Call of duty 2 been removed is understandable, its an easy 1000.

Lots of platinums to organise so its only fair the easier ones are removed.

Great update again Neo.

I made a conscious effort to get all the PoP cheevos online, I prefer mine to be timestamped anyway ...

I'm not sure how many people in the league have their profile set to private, but is it too much to ask that everyone in the league at least have the game info on their MGC profile viewable? After all MGC is the tool used to collect weekly data. Without it there would be no league. Why create a profile if you're not going to make it public? It prevents you from appearing on the leaderboards.

I brought this up because ItsaMii won the week and when you check his MGC profile there is zero game info listed because it's set to private. When someone wins a week I'm always interested to know what games were played.

@eNamrah: Yeah, same here. I was all, "3,059 WTFBBQ!?" Then I couldn't even see if it was from My Horse & Me 2 or what.

It seems many problems are arising.

I'm just throwing an idea out here so don't shoot!

Maybe the League could start from scratch? set a limit to the amount of people in it 80 - 100? and make sure they are active users, that have their profiles set to public and sort out any other problems.

Just an idea. It seems a lot of the League players don't even post here and have forgotten they are even in the league.

@seece: I believe EaglesEye had a rule last year for when if someone didn't log in to Live after a certain period (1 month maybe?) they were removed from the league. This prevented people from staying offline for a while, racking up teh gamescore, then signing in and winning the week. Perhaps there can be a rule where to qualify for the week you've to have been logged (or registered gamerscore) in the previous week? I'm not sure how that would be followed and seems like too much of a hassle (NeoRatt's plate is pretty full as is, heh). Also, seece, expanding on your point, maybe those that haven't logged into vgchartz after a certain time frame be removed.
