http://www.gamespot.com/news/6203859.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=newstop&tag=newstop;title;4

this proves that it's overtracked because they say that they sold 96m DS and it's 97.08m on this site and the wii they sold 44.96m and on this site it's 45.47.If there talking about shipments than it's -1.08m DS and -0.51m Wii.

is it overtracked or not?

Around the Network

"This morning, the company that spent the last hardware generation bringing up the rear with the GameCube reported that its current console had sold 44.96 million units worldwide as of December 31"

Its been almost a month since December 31. So no, I don't think its overtracked. It even sold 329k on this week (well 23th of January.)

"And yet, I've realized that maybe living a "decent" life means you won't ever have a "good" life."

Week ending January 2nd we have the Wii at 44.5 million consoles and the DS at 95.9 million.

You are right, we slightly overtracked both consoles but the numbers have been adjusted already and are still being adjusted by Brett.
