They were talking about shipped, not sold to customer.

Also the 21.3 million shipped came from Sony's Quarterly Earnings announcement.

Shipped =/= sold.

2 years ago the same thing happened with the 360, when it said something like 8 million sold yet MS was saying 10 million sold. Turns out they stuffed the channel to say that whole "first to 10 million wins the generation" BS.

And the same thing happens every time the new quarterly financial reports are released...

i find impossible its undertracked those numbers are a month old. its impossible
ps3 to still be under 20 million and over 2 in the shelves.

if its sony stuffing the channel then dont expect to see ship anything in the next report.
