In terms of Sales most likely not , the PS3 just hasn't got the install base to support such a high level of sales unless the attach rate becomes super high.

In terms of critical acclaim , maybe Killzone 2 obviously beats H3 in the graphics department ... the reviews seem to indicate that K2 could kill H3 in the gameplay department too.

Wether or not it kills Halo 3 is still down to personal opinion , I can't imagine an XBOT admitting to anything near that.

From recent memory, the only truly successful shooters weren't labelled Halo Killers (unless it was after they became big hits and people realised they might be).

Examples include: CoD4, Bioshock, The orange box.

I said this before. You can't "kill" Halo, as it is beyond a game now. Nascar, Mountain Dew, etc. it's everywhere. Nobody buys RTSs on consoles, but I bet Halo Wars will sell at least 3 million on the Halo name alone

nothing can kill halo. Sales- and qualitywise.

Let's see how far K2 will get, saleswise. Doubt it will do better than MGS, but we will see.
