Well basically, it says that the game has amazing graphics (better than gears of war 2 according to them), very nice gameplay (even if a bit classic). It takes more or less 8 hours to finish the story mode. The online modes are good but "lighter than resistance 2".

Good score, I didn't expect to see many in the 8 range though, but I haven't played the game either..maybe I'll feel like it's in the 8 range after I play it=P
I never understood /20 or /40 scores..what's Famitsu's reasoning for the out-of-40 scores? Just to be different? I say stop being so damn difficult and pick something that makes sense=/

Efficacité, c'est le premier mot qui vient à l'esprit lorsqu'il s'agit de décrire Killzone 2. Efficiency is the first word that comes to mind when describing Killzone 2. Jamais le jeu n'invente véritablement, mais tout y est si finement intégré que l'on ne peut que se laisser entraîner dans la tourmente. The grip is exemplary and well-timed action. Même les deux phases en véhicule, passage obligé de tout FPS grand public, s'avèrent grisantes. Famitsu has four reviewers that use the 1-10 scale.

That makes sense but it still makes the score come out pretty odd..I guess, however, if you know how to divide, it's easy to tell what's a good score and what isn't.
@libellule: yeah gamekult.com is way better, but jeuxvideo.com is number one in terms of visitors/day. Then it's jeuxvideo.fr and finally gamekult.com.
But once again I agree with gamekult being the best, even if some reviewers are really, really "stubborn".
