It's official Killzone 2 FTW , definite pre-order / first day buy.

Yea it's pretty good, took it from GAF. For the graphic whores

the graphics engine is just plain spectacular... with such huge amount of particles, special effects, texturing and geometry converging at the same time on screen you'd think the framerate would bog down to a crawl in any moment... but this is not the case for Killzone 2, the engine is so much powerful and robust that it can beat any stress test you put it under (the last level in the game will teach you what "amount of different elements on screen" means), locked 30 fps throught the game, be it 2 or 12 enemies firing plenty of bullets and the shells flying about, with lots of ATACs hovering around and grenades and rockets exploding everywhere... this is the most overwhelming technical achievement of the generation.

 Variety doesn't give score. Metacritic rates the review and gives it a score. It's a conspiracy.

Good scores.

There goes the "I'll wait for the real reviews" line.

I'll respond for them... (if you guys don't mind)

- Every single PS3 exclusive have been hyped beyond belief. Its like the boy who kept crying wolf.. he was bound to be right one day.

- The PS3 has been on the market for over 2 1/2 years and is only receiving its 3rd AAA exclusive. Its sad and nothing to brag about

- Killzone 2 has been in production for so long that there's no way it will ever be a profitable game, $40-$60 million budget?

- Xbox fanboys here on the website and reviewers from the Xbox Magazine have commented on Killzone 2 being a great game.

- (my favorite response) pheww... FPS? That's so Xbox 1.0 .... :p

And I would like to finish this with saying Killzone 2 would be one of two games I would purchase if had a PS3

I don't know about Eurogamer but Vandal is my favorite spanish magazine.

This is the one game that makes me interested in the PS3 and it looks like I was right to be interested

The best

     * Technically it is a level beyond anything seen in the console.
     * The history in general, especially the grand finale.
     * Immersive few as the first line is unforgettable.
     * Multiplayer fun, full of potential and longevity.
     * Enemy AI, level design, physical, game situations ... a delight.
     * Skirmish mode for those who do not have on-line.
     * Fantastic location with the 'Dutch' in the dubbing.

The worst

     * Yes, I knew ... is not cooperative.
     * The campaign is so small.
     * The precise IA peers optimization.

Meristation is maybe the greatest spanish magazine.
