No, Sony has no real rivals and there really in first place according to Kaz. Their difficult programming proves it.

I agree it meets all conditions for greatness.

1. Hated by Developers as the worst coding platform in the history of video games. CHECK

2. Overpriced and unlikely to get a price cut despite a worldwide depression. CHECK

3. Hyped games that never really quite hit the mark. CHECK

4. Third placed and struggling to stay close to the pack. CHECK

Its a winner alright.

I don't know if this post is full of FAIL or full of WIN.

Pixel Art can be fun.

no they have no rivals, because PS3 and XBOX are in a different market. You dont call a Corvette a rival to the Prius do you?

I saw that piece of journalism live and it was just aweful. Clearly someone who had no idea about the industry. He also said:

"Because of the economic downturn competitors are having to delay releasing their consoles"

lol

Of course not. One is a throwback tribute to the old days of the industry targeting a tiny, almost irrelevant niche of consumers, while the other drives industry growth by leveraging new technology to present value to a broad section of consumers.

On the other hand... they are both cars.
