I generally find myself in agreement with you but this time I must respectfully disagree. I enjoyed, and still enjoy, playing the original Boom Blox. I found it very original and challenging at the higher levels especially, trying to determine where to hit, with what and how hard.

Granted, this type of puzzle may not be everyone's cup of tea but it was well done with good production values and certainly was not shovelware.
